Southwest Airlines Schedule Extended to January 4th, 2017
Southwest Airlines has just extended it’s schedule for flights between November 4th, 2016 to January 4th, 2017. This is a critical time for booking flights with Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years all falling within these couple of months. Unfortunately, there are no new exciting routes with this release… But, coming soon are Los Angeles (LAX) to Cancun (CUN), Puerto Vallarta (PVR), and Cabo San Lucs (SJD). These flights are expected to begin in November but Southwest must apply first for the route authority. With near Open Skies between the USA and Mexico approvals should not be a problem.
New flights include:
- Baltimore (BWI) to San Jose, California (SJC) 1x daily
- Salt Lake City (SLC) to San Jose, California (SJC) 2x daily
- Providence (PVD) to Washington DC (DCA) 2x daily
- Kansas City (MCI) to San Antonio (SAT) 1x daily
- Long Beach (LGB) to Oakland (OAK) 4x daily this was already released prior to the extension date
